Disney World Orlando in Florida
Disney World Orlando in Florida has a lot of competition from outside amusement parks. Parks such as Universal and Sea World are main attractions in the Central Florida area in addition to Disney World Orlando in Florida. These other amusement parks focus more on the thrill rides than the theming and décor that Disney has decided to focus on. With such a high demand for thrill rides, Disney World Orlando in Florida decided to include more thrill rides in order to compete with its rivals.
There are theme parks at each theme park at Disney World Orlando in Florida. Some of the thrill rides are newer and more up to date, while others can be considered to be classic. Some of the classic rides include attractions like Space Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad. Space Mountain is entirely enclosed and in the dark whereas Big Thunder Railroad is all outside in the open. While these two rollercoasters do seem to be opposites, they are both exciting. These rollercoasters may not seem as exciting and thrilling as the modern day ones, but they are still fun rides. Many consider these rides to be iconic as they are both at Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. These two attractions are good for the less adventuresome of rollercoaster fans as they do not go upside down. Because they are an older design, however, they can be a little bumpy and rough. The roughness aside, however, Space Mountain and Big Thunder Railroad are still exciting thrill rides at Disney World Orlando in Florida.

There are many newer thrill rides at Disney World Orlando in Florida. The newest attraction is Expedition Everest. This ride takes visitors up and down Mt. Everest in an attempt to find the elusive yeti. This ride is interesting as it combines a rollercoaster with a multimedia presentation. Instead of relying on real props and life size replicas, Expedition Everest uses projections and computer animated graphics to make this rollercoaster a state of the art experience. Another state of the art rollercoaster that combines speed with technology is Test Track. This thrill ride is located at Epcot and features a ride through a series of vehicular tests that culminates in the speed test. This ride is one of the most popular rides in all of Epcot and often has a long wait. At Disney's MGM Studios, Disney World Orlando in Florida created a more traditional rollercoaster. Even the traditional rollercoaster, however, still has a Disney flair to it. Aerosmith's Rockin' Rollercoaster is an entirely enclosed rollercoaster that features the popular rock act performing. With Aerosmith playing the soundtrack to the ride, you experience several twists and turns including an upside down loop. These new rollercoasters give the rides at the competitions' parks something to compete with.
Disney World Orlando in Florida has made an effort to compete in the thrill ride industry. With rides like Expedition Everest and classics like Space Mountain, you have lots of choices at the theme parks. While the competition's parks may have more of a selection, Disney World Orlando in Florida has a much more established theme and décor scheme that ties the rides together in a cohesive pattern. Disney World Orlando in Florida is an excellent place to ride thrill rides as well as enjoy live shows and attractions.
